The Great Wall Chinese series is divided into three stages: Essentials in Communication, Extensions in Communication and Freedom in Communication. Each stage consists of 6 textbooks and 6 workbooks, corresponding to 6 levels. Great Wall Chinese textbooks take “entrepreneurship”, “legend” and “contemporary” stories as the threads, with topics including economy, culture, sports, ethics and so on, reflecting all aspects of contemporary China.
Each textbook in the series contains 10 units, each unit has 3 lessons, including texts, word lists, grammar points, communication points, cultural parks and other contents. The main characteristics of the textbooks in the series are:
